The app recognises with the highest hit rate whether insect powder or insect paste is present in cereals, baked goods, chocolate, crisps, biscuits and much more. The app also detects food additives from insects that are permitted for use in the EU as a coating (e.g. coating for chocolate lentils) or as a colouring.
