1. Collection, processing and use of personal data

a) What is personal data?
Personal data is information that is assigned to a person and that enables this person to be identified. This includes, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This does not include information that cannot be linked to a specific person or can only be linked to a specific person with a disproportionate amount of effort.

b) Collection, processing and use of your personal data
It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
Your personal data is collected, processed and used when you use our contact form, in connection with an application or job enquiry and in the login area.

ba) Contact form
If you send us enquiries, request information or arrange appointments using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. By contacting us via this contact form, you automatically consent to the processing of your data.  

bb) Job market
In connection with an application or job enquiry, you may send us information about yourself, for example a CV. This information may be used within effective management and affiliated companies to evaluate your application. We will store your data for future use unless you instruct us otherwise.

bc)    Login area
If you use our login area, we store a user profile in order to be able to identify you as a registered user. We use this data exclusively to provide you with the services offered in the login area. You can delete your registration and thus your user profile at any time using the function provided. Alternatively, please write to us at the address given in section 8 below.

bd)   Registration function
Users can create a user account. As part of the registration process, the required mandatory information is communicated to the users and processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of providing the user account. The processed data includes in particular the login information (name, password and an email address). The data entered during registration is used for the purposes of using the user account and its purpose.
Users may be informed by e-mail about information relevant to their user account, such as technical changes. If users have cancelled their user account, their data relating to the user account will be deleted, subject to a statutory retention obligation. It is the responsibility of users to back up their data before the end of the contract in the event of cancellation. We are authorised to irretrievably delete all user data stored during the term of the contract.


As part of the use of our registration and login functions as well as the use of the user account, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. This data is stored on the basis of our legitimate interests and those of the user in protection against misuse and other unauthorised use. This data is not passed on to third parties unless it is necessary to pursue our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. The IP addresses are anonymised or deleted after 7 days at the latest.

 

be) Comments and contributions
If users leave comments or other contributions, their IP addresses may be stored on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR for 7 days. GDPR may be stored for 7 days. This is done for our security in case someone leaves illegal content in comments and posts (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, we ourselves may be prosecuted for the comment or post and are therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Furthermore, we reserve the right, on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, to process the information provided by users for the purpose of spam detection.
The data provided in the comments and contributions will be stored by us permanently until the user objects.

2. Information about your computer, cookies

a) Server log files
When you visit our website, the system collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type/browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server enquiry

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
 

b) Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
