This Insects in Food app requires access to the camera function of your device so that you can scan the barcode and ingredient list of the product to be analysed. In addition, this app requires internet access so that the barcode and ingredient list can be compared with the databases used. Access to the camera function is limited solely to the function of scanning the food to be analysed. This app cannot access any existing images or films from your device.
